This guide walks you through how to verify your custom tracking domain and add filter tags in your Icemail dashboard.
A custom tracking domain is a branded domain used to track link clicks and open rates in cold email campaigns. Instead of using a generic tracking domain (e.g., tracking.genericmail.com), your custom domain could look like:
track.yourdomain.com

Navigate to the Mailboxes section from your Icemail dashboard.
In the mailbox listing, hover your mouse over the Export Details icon next to the domain.
A tooltip popup will appear showing the Custom Tracking Domain being used.
That’s it! You’ve confirmed the active tracking domain for your email campaigns.
Filter tags let you organize mailboxes by campaigns, clients, teams, or strategies, helping you track performance at scale.
From the left-hand menu, open the Mailboxes section.
Choose the email account you want to organize using a filter tag.
This opens the tag management interface.
Enter your tag name (e.g., “LeadGen – June” or “Client A – SDR 1”).
Choose a color to visually organize your tags.
Click Create.
Select the domain(s) or mailboxes to which you want to assign the tag.
Click Add Tag, then select the tag you created.
Click Add again to confirm.
You’ll now see the assigned tag next to the associated mailbox or domain.
