If you’re managing large-scale cold outreach, it’s important to keep your mailbox infrastructure clean. This guide explains how to delete multiple mailboxes at once in Icemail, helping you stay organized and maintain optimal performance across your workspace.
Important Notes:
Deletion is permanent. Once processed, deleted mailboxes cannot be recovered.
Deletion may take up to 24 hours to complete.
Mailboxes with errors must be fixed before they can be deleted.
Admin mailboxes: Deleting an admin mailbox will also delete the entire workspace it's tied to.
Log in to your Icemail account.
Navigate to the “Mailboxes” section from the left-side menu.
Use the checkboxes next to each mailbox to select multiple mailboxes.
You can also use the “Select All” checkbox at the top of the table for mass selection.
After selecting the mailboxes, click the “Mailbox Actions” button.
Choose “Delete Mailboxes” from the dropdown.
A pop-up window will appear listing all selected mailboxes.
Review the list carefully to make sure you’re not deleting critical or admin mailboxes.
Click “Delete” to confirm and schedule them for deletion.
Mailboxes will enter a “Scheduled for Deletion” status.
Deletion typically completes within 24 hours.
You can monitor progress in the Status column in your Mailboxes Dashboard.
Resolve all mailbox errors before bulk deletion to avoid issues.
Double-check for admin roles before proceeding.
Use filters or labels to sort and select mailboxes more efficiently.
