For enhanced security and smoother third-party integrations, Icemail now supports secure SMTP and App Password access for all your mailboxes. With built-in 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication), your credentials are now safer and easier to manage.
This guide walks you through how to export a CSV containing your login credentials, app passwords, and SMTP details.
Make sure 2FA is enabled on your Icemail account (it is enabled by default).
Only Admin users can export credentials.
The mailboxes you want to export must be fully active and free of setup errors.
Navigate to your Mailboxes Dashboard.
Use the checkboxes to select one or multiple mailboxes for which you want to download credentials.
Once selected, click the “Mailbox Actions” button.
From the dropdown, choose “Export Mailboxes.”
A prompt will appear. Click on “Export CSV File.”
The export request will be queued, and a download link will be sent to your registered email.
Within a few minutes, you’ll receive an email with a CSV file attached.
The file will contain three tabs (sheets):
| Sheet Details |
1. Mailbox Credentials | Regular email login credentials (email + password) |
2. App Passwords | Secure App Passwords used for tools that don’t support 2FA (like IMAP clients) |
3. SMTP Credentials | SMTP server, port, username, and password for each mailbox |
Connect to email sending platforms like Reply.io, Woodpecker, Lemlist, Instantly, and Smartlead.
Set up custom SMTP in outreach or CRM tools.
Use app-specific passwords with IMAP/SMTP email clients or mobile apps.
Do not share CSVs via unsecured channels.
Store the file securely (preferably encrypted).
Revoke and regenerate passwords if credentials are leaked or outdated.
Avoid reusing SMTP credentials across unrelated services.
