What does “Mailboxes will export as soon as it is ready” mean?
When you initiate an export from Icemail to platforms like ReachInbox, Instantly, or Smartlead, the mailbox export is queued. Once the server has prepared your mailbox credentials and configurations, the export will proceed automatically. Export times vary based on the number of mailboxes and current server activity.
Is there a limit to the number of mailboxes I can export?
No — Icemail allows unlimited mailbox exports across supported platforms on paid plans.
Can I download mailbox login credentials?
Yes, you can export a CSV file that includes login credentials and configuration data for all your active mailboxes. This is especially helpful for manual integrations or backup purposes.
Can I transfer existing mailboxes to Icemail?
Currently, Icemail does not support importing mailboxes from outside sources. Instead, you can connect your verified domain and create new mailboxes directly through Icemail. If your domain is already attached to another Google Workspace (e.g., Workspace Admin), migration is technically complex and not recommended.
Can I export mailboxes to trial accounts on third-party platforms?
No, exporting mailboxes from Icemail to trial accounts on platforms like ReachInbox, Instantly, Smartlead, Emelia, or Reply is not supported. You must have an active paid plan on the receiving platform to complete mailbox exports.
Does Icemail work with subdomains?
No, Icemail currently supports only primary domains. Subdomain usage for mailbox creation or outreach is not supported at this time.
Can I set up email aliases in Icemail?
Icemail does not support aliases. For cold outreach, we recommend using dedicated mailboxes rather than aliases, as aliases can negatively impact deliverability and tracking.
Can I edit mailbox details after creation?
Yes! You can request edits to first name, last name, and username (email prefix) by contacting our support team at team@icemail.ai. We'll make the changes for you quickly.
Can I reassign deleted mailbox slots?
Yes, but with conditions. Mailbox slots are locked per billing cycle. If you delete a mailbox, the slot remains unavailable until the start of the next billing cycle. At that point, you'll automatically regain the credit and can assign it to a different domain.
