🔀 How to Move Domains Between Workspaces or Providers in Icemail

Icemail allows you to move domains across workspaces and switch their provider between Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 — all from within the dashboard.

Critical Requirement

The domain must not have any active mailboxes. You must delete all mailboxes associated with the domain before initiating a move.

Steps to Move a Domain

Step 1: Go to Domains Tab

Log in to your Icemail dashboard and navigate to the Domains tab.

Step 2: Select Domain(s)

Use the checkbox to select one or multiple domains you want to move.

Step 3: Select 'Move Domains'

From the action menu that appears, click Move Domains.

Step 4: Choose Target Workspace and Provider

Select your:

• Target workspace: the workspace you want to move the domain to

• Provider: Google Workspace or Microsoft 365

Step 5: Confirm the Move

Review the move details and click Confirm to complete the action.

Troubleshooting

If the move is blocked, it is because active mailboxes still exist on the domain.

• Delete all mailboxes on the domain first

• Then retry the move process
