Connecting your Icemail mailboxes to Hunter.io Campaigns lets you run powerful cold email campaigns with your fully provisioned, US-IP mailboxes—without any manual credential entry.
Go to your Mailbox Dashboard in Icemail and select the mailboxes you want to connect.
Click "Export Mailboxes" at the top. Note your mailbox credentials: email address, SMTP host, SMTP port, IMAP host, IMAP port, and password.
Log in to your Hunter.io account and navigate to Campaigns → Settings → Email Accounts.
Click "Connect Email Account" or "Add Email Account."
Select "Other / SMTP" as the connection type.
Enter your Icemail mailbox credentials:
Email Address: your Icemail mailbox address
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com (Google) or smtp.office365.com (Microsoft)
SMTP Port: 587 (TLS)
IMAP Server: imap.gmail.com (Google) or outlook.office365.com (Microsoft)
IMAP Port: 993
Password: your mailbox password (use App Password for Google if 2FA is enabled)
Click "Save" or "Verify Connection." Hunter.io will test the SMTP and IMAP connection. Once verified, the mailbox is ready to use in Campaigns.
Configure your daily sending limit to 15 emails per day per mailbox as recommended for Google and Microsoft mailboxes.
Tip: For Google Workspace mailboxes, enable 2-Step Verification and generate an App Password in your Google Account settings. Use the App Password instead of your regular account password when connecting via SMTP.
